Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal - Waimangu Volcanic Valley - Lake Tarawera, Buried Village - Walk In Redwood Forest

The unique geothermal activity and captivating volcanic landscapes of Wai-O-Tapu and the stunning thermal vistas of Waimangu Volcanic Valley feature during the morning geothermal experience. Following this, we visit Rotorua’s Government Gardens and Sulphur Bay, enjoy the natural beauty of the Blue and Green Lakes and the dazzling panoramic views of Lake Tarawera and Mount Tarawera volcano, stop for lunch and explore the volcanic annihilation created by the 1886 Mt Tarawera eruption at Rotorua’s Buried Village.

We journey through time, watching the captivating tale of Te Wairoa unfold at a picturesque waterfall set amidst beautiful New Zealand sub-tropical rainforest, and finish the day with a relaxing walk in the impressive Redwood Forest.

All places visited have restrooms and cafés.
